I had an amazing time. There was a cover charge (expected). Drinks are expensive compared to my city, but wherever I travel to is like that. Club was amazing Some bartenders were friendly, and some need a class on customer service. It wasn't overall bad service though only 1 or 2. Bouncer let's us up to what surprised the hell out of me. It had many dance vibes. I went to hip hop and it was cranking. I had an amazing time dancing non stop. I got so many compliments and attention. I laughed and smiled and drank the whole time. I'm going back soon as the weather breaks.

Ronny is INCREDIBLE. Give him a promotion. We visited while in town for one night and Ronny went out of his way to welcome us even though we were new faces. What a great bartender! Thanks Woodys, we’ll be back!

This is Such a great club. I’ve been going since I’ve been 21 years old and I’m now 29 years old. Surprisingly, I’m shocked I’ve never written a review for this spot before. It is such a great gay club that even straight people come to enjoy the vibe. Its very respectful and unique club. It’s open everyday but best days to go would be any day between Thursday and Saturday nights. However, if you want a chill late night bar, it is a great spot from Sunday nights through Wednesdays. I highly recommend it. Hope you guys enjoy.

Great dance spot! The Saturday night DJ was playing fun electronic music with special effects like lighting and smoke. Bartenders moved drink lines along to keep the party going. I’ll recommend this spot to any friends visiting Philly!

This place is lit. I came here this past summer. I had my expectations bc it was a gay bar, however there's so many cool people in here I'd go back if I was single. There's so many straight women in here who just want to dance.

Had an amazing time at Woody’s! The music was on point, with a great mix that kept the energy high all night. The vibe was fun and welcoming, and the crowd was super lively. The drinks were good, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a must-visit spot in Philly for a great night out. Can’t wait to go back!

Ah, Woody's. Recommended by our Lyft driver for one of the top Gay bars/clubs in Philly! I'm so glad we took her word for it because my friends & I had a great time. Located in the Gayborhood of downtown Philly, get ready for some fun. Regardless if you're preference, everyone is welcomed here. It was a mixed crowd! The dancing, music, and atmosphere was great. You walk up to the door and of course, security is going to check your ID & make sure you're not packing. Then you pay a cover charge. On Saturday night when we went, it was $10. . then Sunday it was $5. They take cash and card! When you walk in, you see the main bar. It's surrounded by different tvs that are show music videos. Then you go towards the stairs and at this time, the Rosebar was open. I was annoyed at the Rosebar (even if it's not officially apart of Woodys) because they only had one bartender. .anyway. There was a small club with all white and different shade bulbs that set a "cute" mood. Then when you go upstairs there's a main floor. This area has lots of flashing lights and lasers! So cool. I really felt like a I was in the Yeah video by Usher Lol. Then there's a room for hiphop and .. they had a pole. so won't say I got on it .. but. . ANYWAY again. Each room has a bar so you can't go thirsty. Every room has a bomb DJ, so you won't be bored. Loved this place and will def be back. Staff and people attending were friendly. Security was all around the building too! Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Woody’s a few times over the years and my favorite time to attend is for Philadelphia Black Gay Pride. However, if I’m in town visiting randomly I love to go on a Friday or Saturday night. It’s a lot of fun, it’s multi clubs within this large space, different music styles and multiple bars to get drinks. I never ate food from there and didn’t even know they served food to be honest, but I spend all my money on drinks. I think the venue is affordable and safe with plenty of security which is a major plus! Love a safe space to be who you are for your pride.

Woody’s is honestly one of the most iconic gay bars/clubs in Philly and definitely a staple in the LGBTQ+ nightlife scene. The vibe is always fun, energetic, and welcoming whether you’re going with friends, celebrating something, or just looking for a good night out. One thing I really like about Woody’s is that it has different sections and music depending on the night. You can dance, hang out at the bar, or just move around and meet people. The music is usually a mix of pop hits, throwbacks, dance music, and some hip-hop depending on the DJ and event. The crowd is usually really diverse too, which makes it feel comfortable for a lot of different people. The drinks are pretty standard club/bar prices for Center City Philly, not cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. The bartenders and staff have always been nice in my experience, and overall it’s just a really fun atmosphere. Like any busy nightlife spot, just stay aware of your belongings and surroundings, especially on packed weekends. But overall, Woody’s is definitely a great spot if you want a fun night out, especially if you’re new to Philly or want to experience one of the city’s most well-known LGBTQ+ clubs. They also just remodeled their whole entire upper floor
